Berwick Cycles Ltd

There has been an independent bike shop in Berwick since the 1930s when it was owned by the Chappell family.

In 1987, Ian Wilson purchased the business and established Wilson Cycles. Since then it has developed a reputation for providing local and visiting cyclists with value for money, great products and extensive technical expertise.




In 2017 Tim Astley bought the business and created Berwick Cycles with the aim of building on the outstanding service developed by Ian and developing quality product lines. Staff members John, Kay and Graham are key members of the team.



Tim is a trained engineer and a lifelong cyclist. Most of his career has been in business management. He moved to Berwick with his family in 2014.
